Maha Chohan vigils are burned to petition the Ascended Master Maha Chohan, who is high master of the Seven Rays, and his name means "the Great Lord." He is the representation of the Holy Spirit and it is believed he can be petitioned for the attainment of wisdom, help in learning new knowledge, matters of faith, bringing about healing, understanding prophecy, the welcoming or expelling of spirits, and learning & understanding foreign languages. At the conclusion of the ceremony (usually 5-7 days) he will e-mail a picture of the work and, if selected, a report of any interpretations & signs.
